Last winter I wore knee high socks. I'll admit I got as much mocking as I did sartorial approval, but I still went with it. I chose ribbed socks, worn with chunky heels and a pencil skirt. School girl meets sexy secretary. I'm smug to report that the Autumn/Winter catwalks were littered with supermodels shocking off their socks too. Of course I'll be recreating this look once the chill sets in - maybe with more statement socks, like these on the Prada catwalk (they also showed knitted tights that were equally as charming and wardrobe worthy). I do love an instant style tweak!
